  • From the art project "Let’s Cook 'Ban' Today!" in 2021, I collected Hakkanese rice dessert recipes from Ms. Liu and created an online presentation. Based on this previous experience, in 2023, I initiated a new community-engaging and cross-generational project with her sister, 二姐, who is also an experienced Hakka language teacher for students of different ages.

  • Retrieving from Mrs. Liu's personal experience and her family story, this project aims to co-program creative events with her for the neighborhood kindergarten, which are related to her interests and the issues she cares about.

  • After months of bonding, brainstorming, and developing our co-teaching programs together, 二姐 and I designed a series of kindergarten courses and two workshops for the public in the neighborhood, based on the topic of plants and food in Hakka culture.
