The "Flavourful Memory" Parent-Child Co-Creation Workshops and site-specific installations were conceived and led by artist Sylvia C. Y. YANG, together with her team. Combining the creative expertise of NOW Across Lab, which specializes in using second-hand fabric materials, the project finds inspiration in the everyday dining scenes and life in the former military village, Beitou Heart Village. It transforms the culinary skills and dining memories of the village's elders into a foundation for co-creation. Sylvia curated eight classic home-style dishes from the village, and through four workshops, parents and children together beautifully crafted 60 patchwork dishes!

「眷村故事香」兒童共創工作坊及親子空間互動計畫由藝術家楊志雅帶領團隊創作發想,結合不廢跨村實驗室使用再生布料創作的經驗,以北投中心新村過往眷村日常吃飯場景,把過去眷村爺爺奶奶的廚藝與飲食記憶,變成親子共同創作的靈感。志雅精選8道眷村家常菜,透過4場工作坊,由家長帶著孩子們共同完成60道拼布料理!

────珍珠丸子────Sticky Rice Meat Balls

眷戶美雪阿姨這麼說:

過年、過節的時候我們家比較常吃的就是珍珠丸子,也就是所謂的糯米丸,絞肉加一些調味料拌均勻,我們家一定加薑、胡蘿蔔、荸薺,才會有脆脆的口感,再去沾糯米,沾在上面以後再下去蒸,就可以蒸出一盤一盤的珍珠丸子了!

美雪阿姨還曾經跟眷村裡其他人家學到「酸辣菜」

────酸辣菜────Sour & Spicy Choi

首先熱油鍋將蝦米、蒜頭、辣椒、乾香菇、肉絲爆香

再加入醬油、白菜、水熬煮個十分鐘

再放入魚皮,淋一些香油和烏醋,就可以準備起鍋啦!
